WORSHIP AT ST JOHNS The Lord is Risen, Alleluia!! You are invited to worship with us as we continue to celebrate the Easter season on Saturdays at 5:30 p.m. (hymns, sermon, healing, Eucharist), or Sundays at either 8:00 a.m. or 10:45 a.m. Eucharist is offered the first Sunday of the month, festival Sundays, and otherwise alternates between the two Sundays services.

SUNDAY CHURCH SCHOOL is held on Sundays at 9:15 a.m. between worship services. Classes are available for all ages, and all are invited to study, learn, and pray with us.

NEW MEMBERS will be received at St. John's on the weekend of May 19 & 20. Those interested in joining St. John's who have not already spoken to Pastor George, please let the church office know as soon as possible.

|
ARTS AT ST JOHNS St. John's Choir Concert on Sunday, May 20 at 4 p.m. with favorite anthems based on the Psalms. Donations will benefit Arts at St. John's. Reception with 'Legendary baked goodies' following. Also, check out any future events - go to Arts and Music, then Concert Series.

SS AWARDS PROGRAM Sunday May 27 will be the last day of Sunday School before summer schedule. On this Day of Pentecost we will celebrate our students' achievements and the "birthday" of the church with awards, staff recognition, and refreshments. All are invited.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL will be held at St. John's this summer August 14-16 and August 21-23 -- two week schedule, three nights each week (Tues, Weds, Thurs). We will again team up with St. John's UCC for "Babylon, Daniel's Courage in Captivity." We will observe a new language and culture, the story of the fiery furnace, and explore the sights and smells of a Babylonian Bazaar! Watch the SPIRE for registration forms. Also, please let the church office know if you're interested in being a teacher or willing to help in any way.
